We are currently looking to hire qualified applicants for new positions, including the following:
CAD Production Team Member
We are seeking a full-time CAD Production person to join our team in downtown Niles, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of innovative designs and bring ideas to life. In coordination with the design team, you will be using CAD software in the schematic development and construction documentation of both small and large-scale projects.
- Bachelor of Architecture (preferred) or a technical degree (e.g. Associate’s) in CAD
- Strong proficiency in the use of CAD programs such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Capability with other programs such as Enscape, Lumion, and Bluebeam
- Outstanding ability to develop accurate designs with great attention to detail
- Familiarity with a variety of construction materials and their applications
- Understand construction techniques and methods for effective incorporation into design documentation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to improve by accepting challenges and always looking to move forward.
Specific Job Functions
- Use CAD software (primarily Revit) to design schematic and construction drawings of architectural projects, in compliance with applicable codes
- Use Enscape and Lumion to develop renderings, videos and virtual reality walkthroughs of design projects
- Assist with on-site documentation of building projects
- Research materials, products, and building codes to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with with engineers and project managers to make sure that project deadlines are fulfilled
- Take part in design reviews and provide input on improvements or modifications
- Work with the production team to develop and produce deliverable drawings on schedule
- Assist in the coordination of project activities with external vendors and contractors

Project Architect
We are seeking an architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work and leading and managing design projects from concept to completion.
- 5 – 10 years of experience
- Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) or Master of Architecture
- Ideal candidate would be a Graduate Architect, currently working toward licensure, or a Registered Architect
- Excellent communication skills
- Current knowledge and experience in the use of CAD programs and computer technology (e.g. AutoCad & Revit) or proven ability to learn these skills.
Specific Job Functions
- Manage all phases of multiple projects, including design document creation, specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, constructability, and construction administration
- Use CAD software (primarily Revit) to design schematic and construction drawings of architectural projects, in compliance with applicable codes
- Supervise staff level team members
- Coordinate and lead project-related meetings, including preparing proposals and presentations for client review
- Coordinate and lead design meetings with team members
- Observe and evaluate periodically on-site construction conditions to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Research project-related laws, codes, and other jurisdictional requirements
- Review drawings from staff
- Review addendums, RFIs and construction change orders
- Provide subcontractors direction by interpreting the design specifications
- Update and maintain project archives, records, drawings, and specifications
