To support the district’s growing needs, CARMI designed an expansion of the existing Central Office to include a dedicated Board of Education (BOE) meeting space and seven additional offices—bringing all top administrators together under one roof. The expansion also includes essential ancillary spaces such as conference rooms, a staff break room, informal landing areas, gender-friendly restrooms, and ample storage. A standout feature of the design is the barrel vault roof over the BOE meeting room, echoing the architectural language of the existing entrance canopies. Outside, a thoughtfully designed plaza extends the functionality of the meeting space, providing a welcoming area for receptions or intermissions during fair weather.
